The Butter Hamlet, Hypoplectrus unicolor is a Hamlet (fish) from the Western Central Atlantic and is found in Florida, the Bahamas and throughout the Caribbean. It is absent from the Gulf of Mexico. It occasionally makes its way into the aquarium trade. It grows to a size of 13 cm in length.
